The Conflict of Interest Policy was developed based on recommendations by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

For Authors
All conflict of interest declarations, acknowledgments, and notes on contributors are all openly available to view on all monographs on RS Global website.
RS Global publisher considers conflicts of interest as a definition by СОРE: A conflict of interest (COI) is a situation in which a person or organization is involved in multiple interests, financial interest, or otherwise, one of which could possibly corrupt the motivation of the individual or organization. The presence of a conflict of interest is independent of the occurrence of impropriety (Handling competing interests).
Full disclosure is required when you submit your manuscript to RS Global Monograph press. The editor will firstly use this information for his or her editorial decisions. They may then publish such disclosures to assist readers in evaluating the article. Or, instead, the editor may decide not to publish your manuscript on the basis of any declared conflict. You can declare the conflict of interest on your cover letter or on the manuscript submission form in the monograph’s online peer-review system.
You should also include a relevant disclosure statement with the text of your manuscript. You can do this in conjunction with any acknowledgments and details of funders.
If there is no disclosure, we will publish the following statement: “No potential conflict of interest was reported by the authors.”

For reviewers
Ensure you declare all potential competing, or conflicting, interests. If you are unsure about a potential competing interest that may prevent you from reviewing, do raise this. Competing interests may be personal, financial, intellectual, professional, political, or religious in nature. If you are currently employed at the same institution as any of the authors or have been recent (e.g., within the past 3 years) mentors, mentees, close collaborators, or joint grant holders, you should not agree to review. In addition, you should not agree to review a manuscript just to gain sight of it with no intention of submitting a review or agree to review a manuscript that is very similar to the one you have in preparation or under consideration at another press.
